Dr Ma obtained his Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Sheffield, UK. His primary research focuses on translation studies and the history of linguistic thought, and he has published multiple papers in internationally recognised journals. At STU he mainly teaches translation courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
