Lisa teaches courses on English for academic purposes, English teaching methodology (Postgraduate) and intercultural communication in the College of Liberal Arts. She also leads the Center for Independent Language Learning (CILL).
Her research interests include second language writing, feedback literacy and translanguaging. Her publications can be seen in Applied Linguistics, Assessing Writing, Journal of Second Language Writing, RELC Journal, etc.
