罗彦宝，讲师，香港理工大学博士（应用语言科学），美国弗吉尼亚大学硕士（课程与教学论）。主要研究方向包括语料库语言学、学术英语写作及第二语言习得等。教学上，主要承担教授本科英语教学，涵盖语言与跨文化交际、学术英语及大学英语等课程，并担任语言与跨文化交际课程协调人。教研方面，参与两项教学改革项目：融合AI和VR平台的法律英语公众演讲技能教学改革研究（汕头大学教育数字化建设项目）以及AI赋能雅思口语陪练服务的创新实践（汕头大学英语语言中心“共教·共研”教研共同体项目）。教学服务方面，曾指导学生参加广东省“外研社·国才杯”“理解当代中国”全国大学生外语能力大赛并获铜奖，指导学生参加第十届岭南杯省级“畅想人工智能+”英语写作技能大赛，获优秀指导老师奖，此外，担任学校英文报刊Shantou Beat和语言自习中心IELTS Speaking Buddy指导老师。

I am LUO Yanbao, a lecturer holding a DALS degree in applied language sciences from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Virginia. My primary research interests include corpus linguistics, academic English writing, and second language acquisition.I teach undergraduate English courses, including Language and Intercultural Communication, Academic English, and College English. I also serve as the coordinator of the Language and Intercultural Communication course.

Regarding teachingresearch, I have participated in two teaching reform projects: "Teaching Reform Research on Public Speaking Skills in Legal English Integrating AI and VR Platforms" (Shantou University Digital Education Construction Project) and "Innovative Practice of AI-Empowered IELTS Speaking Service" (Shantou University English Language Center Collaborative Teaching and Research Community Projects).

In terms of teaching service, I have coached students in the Guangdong Provincial "FLTRP Cup" "Understanding Contemporary China" National College Students' Foreign Language Proficiency Competition, where he won the Bronze Award. I also coached students in the Lingnan Cup Provincial "Imagining AI+" English Writing Skills Competition and received the Outstanding Instructor Award. In addition, I serve as the advisors for the STU’s English newspaper Shantou Beat and CILL’s IELTS Speaking Buddy service.
